With my previous WordPress themes gone I thought I’d try to create a new design for this site, instead of recreating an old one. I’m basing my theme off the current WordPress default theme, called twentyeleven. Currently my design has only modest changes from the default. I’ve changed the background, added a black border to the main content area (to give it the feel of being part of the collage in the background), and tweaked the header so that the main image is now a background to the header and not separate.

It’s not much, but it’s a start.
